Background
For over 60 years, Clark Equipment has supplied the construction, infrastructure, agricultural, mining & materials handling industries with the world’s leading equipment. Today, they are one of Australia’s largest privately owned businesses with branches across Australia and New Zealand.
In 2010, they approached 2BInteractive with a brief to redesign what was essentially an old, disjointed and ineffective website, with the view to making the website work harder in generating leads.
Approach
Clark Equipment have a diverse target market – from smaller contractor based operations, to large multinational companies. As agents for some of the world’s largest brands such as Bobcat, we also had to ensure that these brands were given visibility.
Our first priority was to understand the target markets and to ascertain what it was each would seek to get from interacting with the website. Once we understood this we were able to devise a site architecture which allowed users to easily find information, which gave visibility to each brand and overlayed this with clean, crisp visuals that showcased the equipment.
