Goals
We were approached with a brief to develop an extranet which worked for the purposes of automating and streamlining Remedial's current manual system of recording and responding to job requests, raised by various Strata Managers around Sydney. System requirements include:
- Allowing strata managers to add jobs
- Widespread email notifications
- For jobs to be actioned and monitored through the system
- For pictures, quotes, reports and invoices to be uploaded
- Full reporting function
Results
For this project we worked closely with the Remedial development team to fully understand the processes involved and the requirements of each party.The result was the development of a robust extranet solution which is easily updated and easily managed by both Remedial staff and external parties.
The system was designed to be intuitive and features a comprehensive help function through a range of videos so that users can emulate all steps easily and quickly.
Client Feedback
The process of developing and implementing the system was a time consuming one. In the end, the client expressed their complete satisfaction in the system and in particular, spoke highly about the reporting function and the help features.
In an email to us post implementation. the client said: "The system has now been live for approximately 3 months, and in that time, we have had great user acceptance. Users are finding it easy to use and uptake has been excellent"
